I'm not sure anyone does this any more but I have received a phone call and email from a lady as follows:
As mentioned Ace had Femoral Head Removal surgery on his right hip but this surgery hasn't helped him and he is in so much pain. We have been told by few professor's who are from overseas that the "Permanent Acupuncture with Gold Bead Implants" has 80% success. We are desperate to find a good Vet who could perform this acupuncture on Ace.
My Ace is 10 years old and he is an American Bulldog weighing 36kg. Due to his bad hips, he now suffers aches on his front elbows so my son has no healthy legs to keep him up with his daily life.
Ace cries when he sees other dogs playing together in a park and even refuses his favorite treats as he never had the chance to run around with other dogs. My biggest dream was to see him run around like other dogs but I know it will never happen. All I am hoping for now is to give him a pain-free life. Please help us.
I think there is more info needed here but I am not in practice so there is no point in me investigating. I have her details if anyone fancies a challenge. She calls the dog her four legged son by the way!
